9-12's & Novice / Intermediate Ladies Teacher
Jenny’s physie career began at the age of 3 as a member of the Strathfield Club where she attended with her mum and two sisters and later the Eastwood Club. In 1988 Jenny joined the Tamworth Club and began teaching the Preschool class and progressed to Ladies class. Over the past 24 years Jenny has taught all classes with the exception of the Seniors girls. Jenny was nominated by Sydney to coordinate and run the first New England Zone competition and she still maintains this role. Jenny has been the President of Tamworth Physical Culture Club for the past 2 years and has been the Head Teacher of the club for the past 24 years. Physie has played a major role in Jenny’s life as a competitor and teacher and also in her career as a High School teacher. Jenny believes staying fit and healthy, meeting new people and developing a wider network of friends are wonderful benefits of Physie.
5 - 8's & Open Ladies Teacher
Dayna’’s love of physie began 25 years ago when at the age of 4 she joined the Tamworth Physical Culture Club. Dayna remained an active member until the age of 18 when she commenced her Primary Teaching Degree at Newcastle. While in Newcastle, Dayna joined the Waratah and Belmont Clubs. In 2006, Dayna began her teaching career in Moree and joined the Moree Physical Culture Club as a competitor and later as a teacher. 2010 saw Dayna re-join the Tamworth Club as a competitor and teacher. Dayna has had experience teaching all age groups with the exception of 9 to 12 years.Dayna enjoys sharing her love of Physie with her students and believes that Physie provides a positive environment for girls of all ages.
Taylor teaches our preschool class and is a year 12 student at Oxley High School. Taylor is an exceptional Physie girl and loves everything about Physie. She really enjoys teaching and meeting new people and making new Physie friends. Taylor started Physie when she was 4 years old. Since then she has had fantastic Physie results. The highlights of Taylor’s Physie career so far would be winning the Junior Zone Championships a total of nine times, Placing four times at a national level and representing Tamworth Club at the Sydney Opera House in 2012, 2013, 2014 & 2016.
13 - 16's & Open Seniors Teacher
Tara has been a member of Tamworth Physie since she was 4 years old, with the exception of 3 years. At this time she was a member of the Warners Bay Physie Club while in Newcastle studying Radiography. Tara has proudly represented Tamworth Physie club at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony as well as in the National Finals at the Opera house in 2000, 2001 & 2003.
