Physie is a Fusion of Dance and Sport performed to a soundtrack of fun upbeat pop music & is designed to increase flexibility, strength & fitness. BjP Physie fuses together dance styles such as jazz, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, aerobic dance and even yoga!
BJP Physie aims to improve the health of Australian girls and women by promoting physical fitness and mental wellbeing. For ages 3 to 73, Physie is a sport for life. Grandmothers, mothers, daughters and granddaughters can all be members of our Physie club. Our club caters for girls and women of all ages and abilities, it’s an experience you can share throughout your life. BJP Physie focuses on developing the self-esteem of its students. By teaching them to have a positive relationship with their bodies, students blossom with confidence.
With over 130 clubs, BJP Physie is Australia’s longest-running and premier Physie organisation. Founded over 120 years ago as the Bjelke-Petersen School of Physical Culture, BJP has proudly inspired thousands of Australians to exercise both body and mind through this remarkable sport. How to join our Club
To secure your spot either:
Attend our registration day on 2nd February 2017 from 4.30pm to 5.30pm at St Patrick’s Hall Denison St, Tamworth.
Complete the enrolment form on the website & the new member will be added to the class list.
NB: this will secure your spot in the class with further forms to be completed upon arrival.
Attend a class at your earliest opportunity and sign up on that day.
Parents at Classes
Parents are encouraged & welcome to come and watch your daughter’s class. At our Denison St premise we have a viewing room to the side with large windows so you can see what your daughter is learning.
What to wear to class
Comfortable tighter fitting clothing that you can freely move in. Any type of leotard, black tights/leggins or black shorts with a singlet/t-shirt. No footwear is needed. Hair to be tied back.
